Its starting to rain...

At this time of the year, the rain has started to pour almost everyday. Cooling down everything, and softening the hard ground that has been baked under the sun for the past few months.
The paddy field is started to flood by the rain water.

This mark the beginning of re-planting the paddy field. Farmers are now busy ploughing and planting on the paddy field. Soon, the field will be completely covered by the green paddy.

Cloudscape

Saw these lovely skyscape one my way home one afternoon. Took a few handheld shots and later stitched them together on photoshop. Would have got a wider panoramic shot if I had a tripod.

Footprints in the sand

This is our first blog, our photography blog, started since Dec 2009, when we got our first DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera, and its finally Nikon.

I have recently made some adjustment to the blog, the title is now random picture every time the blog is loaded, there is a music player at right side column, feel free to play the songs, not too many songs and its not auto play, which I think it's better this way. You'll also find a slideshow below the music player, these are all the pictures found in our blog, but please don't click on the picture, which it will take you to the albums in PicasaWeb, and I don't recommend you leaving comment there.

Lastly, enjoy our blog of pictures, and please leave your footprint on our blog. We will be happy to know there are people came to our blog. It encourage us to snap more photos thru our daily life, which also tell about our life story.

Langkawi

Wasabi

The word Wasabi always remind me of a very funny action movie, titled WASABI of course, starring Jean Reno, Ryoko Hirosue and Momo? And I started to like to eat wasabi as well. I maybe can't take spicy food, but somehow I like it.

Moon

I was doing my laundry on one lovely evening. While I was waiting for the spin cycle to end, I gaze into the night sky. There was a full moon and I thought how lovely it looked. Took out my camera and took a few shots but none really came out well exposed, including this one. "Ah, never mind" I told myself. Kept my camera and went back to just gazing at it. Reminds me of a song from Beck, an anime I saw many years back. The song is in the mp3 player on this blog if you are interested, its the first song.
Beck manga can be found free online, do check it out. Personally, I have yet to finish reading the manga. I got bored after reaching a certain chapter, I still prefer the anime even though the story is much shorter. Think I will watch it again when I have the time.
I remember once my mum woke me up in the middle of the night wanting to show me something. I was half asleep as she lead me to the garden. She told me "look" as she pointed to the sky. It was one of those rare 'wow' moments. That night the sky looked awesome, and the moon seemed so big and the sky was really clear. The last time I saw something as beautiful as that was about three months ago when I was holidaying in Langkawi. Talking about Langkawi, I think I will post some pictures of my trips there soon. Hmm.. think I will go do my laundry now. - Mew
